⚠️ Outdoor safety disclaimer: Conditions shown on wheretobike.ch are algorithmic estimates based on weather data. They are not a substitute for local knowledge, professional advice, or your own judgment. Always assess trails and slopes in person before riding or skiing.

1. About the Service

wheretobike.ch ("the Service", "we", "us") provides real-time snow and trail-condition summaries for ski resorts and mountain biking locations in the Alps. Scores are computed automatically from open weather data and do not represent official assessments by any resort, rescue service, or governing body.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

3. Account Registration

You may create a free account using your email address or a Google account. By registering you agree to:

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

4. User-Submitted Content

The Service allows registered users to submit feedback reports about conditions ("Report wrong data"). By submitting a report you confirm that:

We reserve the right to remove any report without notice and to ban users who repeatedly submit inaccurate or abusive content.

5. Accuracy of Conditions Data

Condition scores and labels (e.g. "Hero dirt", "Excellent", "Prevalent mud") are generated algorithmically from open weather data provided by Open-Meteo. They may not reflect actual on-the-ground conditions due to microclimates, recent events, or data latency. Always verify conditions locally before heading out.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not:

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, wheretobike.ch shall not be liable for:

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice.
